Automotive Learning Coach – HGV & Trailer Engineering

Location: Winsford (Onsite + Hybrid). Full‑Time, Permanent. Salary £35,459 - £39,459 + £3,000+ Car Allowance.

Are you an experienced HGV or Trailer Engineer looking to step into a rewarding training role? We are recruiting an Automotive Learning Coach to support apprentices in heavy vehicle engineering.

The Role

  • Support and coach a cohort of approximately 40 learners.
  • Deliver progress reviews, mentoring, and workplace observations.
  • Work closely with apprentices in HGV and trailer engineering.
  • Support learning across mechanical, maintenance, and manufacturing disciplines.
  • Combine on‑site delivery in Winsford with hybrid responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in HGV, bus, coach, or trailer engineering.
  • Previous experience in teaching, training, or assessing (essential).
  • Assessor and/or teaching qualification (desirable).
  • Passion for mentoring and developing learners.
  • Ability to support both practical and theoretical engineering skills.
