We are working with a leading training provider who are looking to appoint an Electronics Instructor to work in Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an electronics, electrical engineering or manufacturing background who is looking to move into education and training. Previous teaching experience is not required as full qualifications and support will be provided.

The Role:

  • Deliver practical and classroom-based electronics training
  • Teach soldering, electronic component identification and basic circuit building
  • Demonstrate the use of electronic testing equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes and signal generators
  • Support and mentor learners throughout their training programme

Package:

  • Starting salary just over £34,000
  • Increase to £36,000 following completion of AET qualification
  • Further increase to £38,000+ after completion of Assessor Award
  • Fully funded teaching and assessor qualifications
  • 36.25 hour working week
  • Early finish every Friday (1:15pm)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Medical insurance and additional benefits package

Requirements:

  • Hands-on industry experience within electronics or a related field
  • Good practical understanding of electronic components, circuits and testing equipment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to train and support learners
