The role is based at our site in Belfast. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is a hands-on role which will include supporting our warehouse and leading, motivating, supervising, and developing the team whilst delivering a consistent, smooth, and efficient warehouse/logistics department. Although the core hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 15:45, you must have a flexible attitude to the start and finish times to suit the business needs and be able to work overtime at short notice.
Key Tasks
- Create a fully flexible Goods Outwards/Logistics Team, through training and secondment to other disciplines on a rolling basis.
- Ensure excellent communication and teamwork by maintaining a helpful, positive, and friendly atmosphere with colleagues.
- Ensure all necessary tasks are delegated to your team and update the whiteboard daily.
- Maintain customer care by accurate picking and packing of customer orders both DLF and general orders.
- Ensure the goods receiving/inwards processes are followed as per company guidelines and standards.
- Efficient control of warehouse working hours.
