TR Machinery was established in 2021 as part of the RVW Pugh group. TR Machinery exclusively holds the full-line Fendt franchise for Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid Wales and Staffordshire, along with a full range of complementary machinery from leading manufacturers. We also sell a wide range of parts, workshop tools and sundries.

TR Machinery is a new, passionate dealership with a vision to offer exceptional customer service. We are based in Newport, Shropshire. Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a Workshop Administrator.

Reports to: Service Manager

Job Description: To assist the Workshop Management and work as part of a busy team in an Agricultural Machinery dealership which is passionate about the franchises they hold and providing good customer service to the area. The successful person would be instrumental in helping to ensure that targets set are met and that the service department is effective & profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Workshop Management to ensure achievement of annual sales target
  • Manage customer accounts & credit
  • Awareness of department financials and individual impact on those
  • Maintaining & nurturing existing & prospective customer relationships
  • Ensuring efficient and timely resolution of paperwork
  • Warranty submissions for the depot
  • Workshop job invoicing, including warranties
  • Draw up quotes for insurance jobs, and invoice as per authorisation once repairs complete
  • Keep loan / hire book up to date
  • Warranty register new tractors on Agconet once delivered to customer
  • Update workshop labour onto Gold and send weekly hour summaries to Accounts on dates due for payroll
  • Keep track of Vehicle Maintenance Chart, book in van MOTs
  • Liaise with Administrator at Churchstoke to book technicians on training as requested
  • Take workshop calls and deal with if possible, or take messages if not possible

Salary dependent on experience. Experience in a Service or Parts department within a dealership environment is desirable.
