The Senior Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role acts as a key link between day-to-day finance operations and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and statutory regulations
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
- Coordinate external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets
- Provide financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members
- Manage tax reporting and liaise with external tax advisors where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA) strongly preferred
- Proven experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Experience
- 5-10+ years in accounting or finance roles, including supervisory experience
- Experience in audit, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment is an advantage

Mon to Thurs 8am - 4.30pm & Fri 8am - 3.30pm full time on-site role.
