The Senior Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role acts as a key link between day-to-day finance operations and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and statutory regulations
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
  • Coordinate external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members
  • Manage tax reporting and liaise with external tax advisors where required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA) strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • 5-10+ years in accounting or finance roles, including supervisory experience
  • Experience in audit, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment is an advantage

Mon to Thurs 8am - 4.30pm & Fri 8am - 3.30pm full time on-site role.
