Due to continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Payroll Clerk to join a Head Office team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day payroll operations, working closely with colleagues within the payroll department and reporting to the Payroll Manager and Assistant Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the payroll team in processing a 4-weekly payroll cycle.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll processes and routines for both hourly paid and salaried employees.
- Oversee and check key areas of payroll activity to ensure accuracy and compliance, including new starters, promotions, and leavers.
- Prepare and input data into the payroll system.
- Produce payroll reports as required.
- Resolve payroll queries while delivering excellent customer service.
- Support business projects by providing guidance on payroll processes and legislative requirements.
- Carry out general administrative and office duties as needed.
Person Specification
We are looking for a Payroll Clerk with previous experience in a dedicated payroll team and involvement in daily payroll processing. This is a varied and rewarding role within a fast-paced environment. You will bring:
