The Role
As a key member of the site engineering team, youll play a vital role in ensuring production runs smoothly by delivering bothreactive and preventative maintenanceacross a wide range of pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems. Youll also support theinstallation and commissioningof new equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry outreactive and planned maintenanceon production machinery
- Diagnose and resolve faults onpneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Assist with theinstallation and optimisationof new production lines and equipment
- Supportcontractor management, ensuring compliance with RAMS and site procedures
- Contribute to thedevelopment and improvementof existing equipment and processes
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience in amaintenanceengineering role within a manufacturing environment – primarily mechanically focussed, but it\’ll be a real bonus if you have electrical experience too.
- Strong knowledge ofpneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical fault-finding
- Familiarity withPPM schedules
- Understanding ofautomation and control systems; PLC knowledge is a plus
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Engineering Level 3 or 5, HNC/HND, City & Guilds) or equivalent experience
- IOSH and Working at Height certifications are desirable
