Our client is a well-established property management firm boasting a decades-long history with its Headquarters based in North London. They provide property management services to a large portfolio of properties across the capital and spanning down to the South Coast. The organization is steadily expanding its asset base through a mix of acquiring new properties, building developments and repurposing existing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all residential properties in our clients portfolio fully comply with licensing standards.
  • Conduct property audits, communicate with tenants and staff, and track safety inspections and maintenance repairs to guarantee regulatory adherence.
  • Lead a dedicated team of Property Managers and collaborate closely with the broader residential division.
  • Review housing portfolios to determine mandatory permitting requirements and ensure total adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Organize compliance inspections and secure necessary safety documentation.
  • Direct and mentor a group of property professionals, conducting routine performance reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for renters, external vendors, and maintenance specialists.
  • Manage repair operations, schedule contractors, and supervise post-repair quality checks.
  • Process security deposit refunds according to legal guidelines, track overdue rent, and mediate conflicts.
  • Initiate eviction procedures when all other resolutions have failed, while safeguarding the company against regulatory risks.

Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:

  • Deep familiarity with Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) licensing protocols.
  • A strong dedication to providing top-tier customer support.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and clear communication skills.
  • Familiarity with property management software is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
