A growing multi-site retail business is looking for an experienced Inventory Accountant to join its Head Office team in Plymouth.

This is an analytical and commercially focused role, sitting at the interface between finance, inventory, supply chain and decision-making.

The successful candidate will go beyond monitoring and reporting inventory levels, providing detailed analysis of stock levels, ageing, trends and discrepancies and translating this insight into actionable recommendations.

The role will play an important part in improving purchasing efficiency, strengthening inventory controls and maximising profitability across the business.

About the Role As Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate, insightful analysis of inventory performance while ensuring strong financial controls and governance.

You will work closely with purchasing, merchandising, supply chain, stores and distribution centres, using data to identify risks and opportunities and support informed commercial decisions.
