We are looking for a dynamic Digital Trading Executive to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about e-commerce, digital merchandising, and driving online sales performance.
About the Role
As a Digital Trading Executive, you will be responsible for delivering the online trading and product merchandising strategy across key product categories. You will manage sales and conversion targets, working closely with internal teams to identify commercial opportunities and support product development.
Using a range of merchandising tools, search technology, analytics, and business intelligence platforms, you will optimise product visibility, improve customer journeys, and maximise sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own sales revenue and performance KPIs for assigned product categories and site taxonomy.
- Monitor and report on conversion rates, bounce rates, and category performance.
- Use data-driven insights to improve customer engagement and trading results.
- Ensure effective online merchandising across the website.
- Maintain brand consistency across all trading and merchandising activities.
- Develop strong knowledge of product ranges, category performance, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and campaign delivery.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Optimise category structures, filters, sequencing, and navigation across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Align merchandising with seasonal trends and customer demand.
- Review competitor websites for pricing, navigation, promotions, and product strategy.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to strengthen the online offer.
Person Specification
- Background in E-commerce, Marketing, or Sales preferred (not essential).
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in Excel, Google Analytics (GA4), BI dashboards, and other tools.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver growth.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
