Due to our clients ambitious growth plans and continued success, we are looking for a dynamic New Business Lead to join the Marketplace team, based at Head Office in London. Role Overview As New Business Lead, you will be at the forefront of expanding the marketplace, responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new sellers. Youll source sellers whose products align with key categories, customer demand, and long-term growth strategy. This is a commercially focused role requiring strong business acumen and a solid grasp of marketplace dynamics. Youll build and manage a pipeline of sellers, assess potential partnerships, and ensure a seamless onboarding process. Working closely with the Marketplace Manager and wider teams, you will help new sellers succeed, driving category expansion, customer satisfaction, and the overall performance of the Marketplace. You will report directly to the Marketplace Manager. Key Responsibilities Identify and recruit new sellers across priority categories in line with Marketplace strategy. Develop and deliver acquisition strategies to meet new business growth targets. Drive seller acquisition initiatives, from lead generation to contract closure. Conduct competitor and market analysis to spot opportunities and trends. Collaborate with the Marketplace Manager to prioritise high-potential categories. Vet and onboard sellers, ensuring compliance with company, legal, and regulatory standards. Provide hands-on support to sellers throughout their first 46 months, ensuring smooth integration. Transition sellers to the Account Management team, highlighting key insights and opportunities. Manage accurate and timely product onboarding processes. Represent at trade shows and webinars, building awareness and attracting sellers. Develop compelling pitches and value propositions to showcase the benefits of joining the Marketplace. Track, manage, and report on KPIs, including acquisition metrics, revenue growth, and seller performance. Deliver training and onboarding sessions for new sellers. Use Zendesk to resolve seller queries and maintain high satisfaction levels. Partner with marketing to create acquisition campaigns and support seller launches. Lead and mentor team members, ensuring best practices and continuous process improvement. Essential Skills
