Experienced CNC Setters / Operators required to work for large Engineering company based in Plymouth. Successful candidates will be required to set and operate both Fanuc controlled CNC and PLC Machinery. Set machine tooling and jigs in accordance with production engineering and Company quality standards. Ensure tooling is fitted correctly and running in accordance with specification sheets. Complete first-offs and appropriate checks in compliance with Company quality and production engineering standards. Load and unload components from machinery. Use analogue and digital measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres. Achieve production targets where variances occur, report to the Cell Leader or Senior Cell Leader. Communicate breakdowns or machine abnormalities to the Cell Leader, Senior Cell Leader or a member of the maintenance team. Report damaged or faulty guarding or machinery to the Cell Leader immediately. Stamp product to verify conformance with the Company quality standards. Observe and comply with all Company health, safety, quality and environmental standards. Perform frequency gauge checks in accordance with the Companys production engineering and quality procedures. Complete daily/weekly machine setter operator checklist coolants, oils and machine health and safety. Recent, proven experience working as a CNC Setter / Operator within Engineering or Manufacturing. Experience of reading Engineering drawings and using analogue & digital Verniers and Micrometers. A Mechanical Engineering qualification such as BTEC, HNC or HND. The successful candidate must be able to work either a weekly alternating shift comprising of Monday to Friday 06:00am to 14:00pm and Monday to Friday 14:00pm to 22:00pm or Static Nights of Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm to 6am Sunday Night to Thursday. The salaries advertised are inclusive of 20% shift premium for Alternating shift or 40% shift premium for night shift.
