The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate demand forecasts and supporting effective replenishment strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure optimal stock availability while driving insights to support trading and promotional activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Design and build dashboards within forecasting systems (e.g. RELEX) to provide clear, actionable insights.
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making data-driven recommendations.
- Review and refine forecasts to reflect seasonal trends and promotional activity.
- Act as a super user of AI-driven forecasting and replenishment systems, managing updates, testing, and implementation of changes.
- Investigate discrepancies between forecast and actual sales, identifying root causes and improving model accuracy.
- Manage and resolve ordering exceptions.
- Create and maintain efficient ordering schedules to support stock availability.
- Review promotional allocations at store level, ensuring accuracy and alignment with plans.
- Collaborate closely with Buying and Stock teams on product ranges, forecast exceptions, and demand-impacting activities.
About You
- Previous experience in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain within retail or FMCG.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Experience with forecasting or replenishment systems is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI/analytics tools.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong commercial awareness with confident communication skills.
