An opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to play a key role in enabling data-driven decision making. This position will lead the design, development and optimisation of reporting and analytics solutions, with a strong emphasis on Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Requirements Management
    • Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements across multiple functions
    • Facilitate workshops to capture current and future state processes
    • Produce clear documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process maps
    • Ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions
  • Data & Reporting (Power BI)
    • Develop and maintain Power BI reports aligned to business requirements
    • Build and optimise data models, including DAX calculations and performance tuning
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance (including row-level security)
    • Manage data refresh schedules, gateways, and dataset performance
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting frameworks
  • Process Improvement & Change Support
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation, and data quality
    • Support business change initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements
    • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials
    • Support end users in adopting new systems and ways of working
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and IT
    • Manage workload and deliverables in line with agreed timelines
    • Identify risks and issues, escalating where appropriate with proposed solutions
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and outcomes

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience with Power BI, including advanced data modelling, performance optimisation, and reusable datasets
  • Proven experience integrating multiple data sources (e.g. SQL, APIs, SharePoint) within an enterprise environment
  • Experience working across multiple business functions, ideally including Supply Chain and Commercial
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design
