About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Administrator to support a busy logistics and supply chain function. This role is key to ensuring the smooth coordination of shipments, accurate documentation, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely collection and delivery
- Prepare, check, and maintain logistics documentation (e.g. delivery notes, invoices, consignment notes, and import/export paperwork where required)
- Liaise with transport providers, freight forwarders, and couriers to arrange shipments and resolve issues
- Monitor delivery schedules and communicate any delays or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records within logistics systems and reports
- Support stock movements, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy alongside warehouse teams
- Process delivery confirmations and generate customer invoices
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, health & safety standards, and UK transport regulations
- Respond to internal and external queries relating to deliveries and logistics data
- Produce regular reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and costs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function
