We’re looking for a motivated Welding Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Plympton. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience with modern automated welding equipment. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, so no prior experience with automated systems is required, just a willingness to learn and a good eye for detail. This is a Temporary to Permanent role with the chance to develop new skills and grow your career in automated manufacturing. Responsibilities: * Operate and monitor welding machines safely and efficiently. * Prepare and position metal components for welding. * Check welds for quality and make minor adjustments as needed. * Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment. * Keep your workspace organised and follow all health and safety procedures. * Work independently and as part of a friendly, supportive team. Experience: * Basic MIG welding experience is a plus, but not essential. * Interest in technology and willingness to learn modern welding techniques. * Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail. * Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
