We are seeking a technically minded, commercially driven Sales Engineer for a Precision Engineering company based in Plymouth. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will support the clients ongoing strategic business development within both the UK and overseas, combining engineering expertise with customer facing sales to deliver tailor made solutions for aerospace, defence and high-end industrial applications. Key Responsibilities will include: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, MROs, and distributors. * Interpret customer technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions. * Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical presentations. * Support new business development through market research and prospecting. * Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. * Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings. Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required: * A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an appropriate related engineering discipline. * Relevant, proven experience in Technical Sales, Business Development or Application Engineering. * Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills. * Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer solutions.
