We're currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team in North Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position working Monday to Thursday, giving you every Friday, weekend and evening free.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out light assembly and production tasks
- Assembling components accurately and to required specifications
- Performing quality checks throughout the production process
- Reading and interpreting component drawings - full training provided
- Using measuring equipment including Verniers, micrometers, gauges and jigs
- Labelling, weighing and accurately packing components
- Allocating raw materials as required
- Completing production paperwork and updating information using a computer system
- Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of quality and safety
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, production or assembly environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Experience within inspection, quality or stores would be advantageous
- An interest in learning how to use measuring equipment and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic computer skills
- A strong work ethic and reliable approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good manual dexterity and a practical, hands‑on approach
What's On Offer?

- Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 3:00pm or 7.00am - 4:00pm
- Every Friday off
