We’re working with a fast-growing and ambitious business in Plymouth that’s looking to add a Web Developer with Shopify experience to their expanding in-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who wants to be part of a collaborative environment, working on a variety of ecommerce and web projects with real impact.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a close-knit team where your work will directly contribute to the development and optimisation of Shopify stores and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and creative development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Shopify themes using Liquid
- Build and maintain responsive, high-performing websites
- Work across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement new features and improvements across ecommerce platforms
- Troubleshoot issues and optimise site performance
- Collaborate with internal teams including design and marketing
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with Shopify (themes, customisation, apps)
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of responsive design and UX best practices
- Experience with Git/version control
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A team player with good communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify CLI or custom app development
- Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue)
