We are looking for a dynamic Plant Buyer to join our team at Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and managing our seasonal plant category, ensuring high quality products and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the seasonal plant category, aligning with business objectives to drive sales, manage stock, and maintain margin.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across the UK and Europe, negotiating to balance value for money with product quality.
- Plan and manage seasonal delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with plant import regulations and domestic requirements, while minimizing wastage.
- Respond to seasonal demand, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain availability and sales.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and product innovations; analyse sales data and recommend range improvements.
