Production / Machine Operatives required to work for a manufacturing company on the outskirts of Plymouth. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out basic machine operating and heavy manual handling. These are Temporary to Permanent opportunities for candidates who demonstrate the willingness to succeed.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Heavy manual handling (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Basic quality inspection.
- Completing paperwork.
Experience / Skills and Candidate Attributes Required:
- Recent, proven production experience gained from either an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
- Experience of using correct manual handling procedures to carry out heavy physical manual handling.
- A keen and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- An excellent eye for detail coupled with excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate must commit to a day shift role working Monday to Friday 05:45 to 13:45 (40 hrs per week). Own transport is highly preferred due to the location of our client and the start and finish times of both shifts. Initial starting rate of £13.40 per hour, upon successful completion of training your pay rate will rise to £15.60 per hour.
