We are currently recruiting for Electronic Assemblers to join a world-renowned engineering manufacturer in a busy, high-quality production environment.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with production or assembly experience who are looking to learn new skills and develop a career within engineering. Full training will be provided, so previous electronics experience is not required.
The Role
Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be involved in the assembly, wiring and testing of electronic systems used in modern rail vehicles.
- Assembly of electronic components and PCBs
- Wiring, crimping and cable preparation
- Coil winding and loom preparation
- Soldering and component installation
- Rack and cubicle assembly
- Testing electronic components and systems
- Following technical drawings and written instructions
- Carrying out quality checks
- Working to production targets and maintaining high standards
About You
- Previous production, manufacturing or assembly experience
- Good attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- The ability to follow instructions and processes
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- A willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- No previous electronics experience is required - full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday only, with a choice of shift patterns:
- 06:45 - 16:30
- 07:30 - 17:15
- 08:00 - 17:45
