We are working with a client based in Plymouth seeking a Quality Technician to join a vibrant and thriving Engineering business. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, inspecting products for quality conformance, and investigating root causes of quality issues raised by the shop floor teams. This is a position working on the shopfloor with daily liaison with the Quality and Production teams. This is an alternating shift pattern and being recruited on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: Conducting regular internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Inspecting finished products to verify quality and conformance. Investigating and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective actions. Coaching and mentoring team members to promote a culture of quality. Supporting the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, such as APQP. Ensuring compliance with quality documentation and procedures. Primary point of contact for quality-related enquiries and support the shop floor.
