TQ Lettings is a rapidly growing letting agency based in Altrincham, operating across the wider North West. As we scale our portfolio, we're looking for a driven and ambitious Lettings Negotiator to join the team. For the right applicant, there is a genuine opportunity to progress within the business as we continue to grow.

This is a full end-to-end lettings role. You will be responsible for generating and converting leads, booking and conducting viewings, qualifying applicants, and getting deals over the line. Once a tenancy is agreed, you will hand over to our tenancy progression team.

In addition to lettings, you will carry out property inspections, inventories, check-ins, and check-outs across our managed portfolio. Please note: This role involves a significant amount of driving to appointments across the North West on a daily basis using your own vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed at the standard HMRC rate. A full UK driving licence is essential. This role includes working every other Saturday, with a day off in lieu during the week.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound enquiries and booking viewings
  • Conducting viewings across the North West
  • Qualifying applicants and managing the application process
  • Negotiating and agreeing tenancies
  • Carrying out property inspections, inventories, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Maintaining accurate records across our property management system
  • Liaising with landlords and applicants professionally throughout

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your own diary and work independently
  • Confident on the phone and in person
  • Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Ability to follow instruction and work within established processes

Desirable:

  • Previous lettings or property experience
  • Experience in a target-driven sales or customer-facing role with a genuine interest in property and the rental market

Please note: we are open to candidates without lettings experience, but we are looking for people with a real interest in property - not just any sales background. Please demonstrate this in your application.

What We Offer:

  • £25,000 basic salary
  • OTE £30,000+ with commission structure
  • Company laptop
  • Company mobile phone
  • Mileage reimbursed at the standard HMRC rate (own vehicle required)
