We are looking for a dynamic and problem solving Resource & Associate Manager to join our Resourcing team and work collaboratively across the TPX Consulting team. Your core responsibility will be to manage a number of accounts from a resourcing perspective, working alongside the project lead and other capability Heads Of to ensure the right team is allocated to new and live pieces of work as well as planning for future work.

This role also requires you to grow and nurture our community of associates, to build a strong and successful team for our project delivery.

This position sits within the Resourcing Team and reports directly to the Head of Resourcing & Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assigning available employees to projects in accordance with their skill sets, previous experience and availability.
  • Working actively to optimise overall utilisation within the consultancy division, reporting on any issues and supporting on any remediation
  • Build and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships for project requirements and act as one of the key points of contact. Understand what is required and when, keep abreast of future requirements and pipeline resources accordingly.
  • Project Resourcing - working in close collaboration with our Delivery teams and internal stakeholders to create and shape project teams.
  • With a clear brief of what is needed, find the appropriate resource from a variety of sources. Use TPX’s network of associates and when appropriate, work collaboratively with the Group recruitment team and PSL agencies for external resources.
  • Manage resource conflicts
  • Own, grow and nurture our community of associates; build and maintain a strong pipeline of associates.
  • Establish/manage the people database, capturing relevant skills and capabilities, experience and delivery as well as availability and project history.
  • Recruitment agency liaison (where appropriate) + PSL management. Key point of contact

  • Budget: Work towards an agreed Gross Margin target

  • Resource complexity and nature of work teams: Work with both TPXimpact teams and our associate network. Coordinate resource planning across multi-disciplinary delivery teams, drawing from both permanent TPXimpact employee capacity and a flexible associate network. The work involves managing short and medium term capacity across simultaneous projects with varying scopes, durations, and technical requirements. You’ll ensure the right people are matched to the right projects to deliver value and meet client needs.
  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity: Solving resourcing clashes You’ll be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving resourcing conflicts, such as overlapping statements of work, limited specialist availability, or changes in project timelines.
  • Change management requirements: You will play a role in managing change of project scope - this will involve adapting resourcing plans quickly to help teams adjust.
  • Internal / External interactions: Build relationships with our internal staff, stakeholders and our associate networks. Depending on the account, this will also include building client relationships.
  • Strategic timeframe working towards: Ensure projects are resourced efficiently to ensure they can start on time with the right skills and sufficient capacity over the short to medium term.
