We're looking for a Delivery Manager to be at the heart of multidisciplinary teams at TPXimpact. You will guide teams in delivering projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring clarity in roles, prioritising work, and engaging clients effectively. You will work across various sectors, including local councils, central government, health organisations, and third sector organisations, often stepping into leadership roles in smaller teams or projects with tighter budgets.
Responsibilities
- Budget: Manage project budgets, balancing cost versus value.
- Headcount: Build and maintain multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Resource complexity and nature of work teams: Work with both TPXimpact and client teams, ensuring motivation and collaboration.
- Problem solving responsibility and complexity: Identify obstacles, facilitate delivery flow, and manage risks and dependencies.
- Change management requirements: Guide teams through new process implementations and adapt Agile methodologies as needed.
- Internal / External interactions: Build relationships with senior clients, support Sales and Marketing teams, and participate in the Community of Practice.
- Strategic timeframe working towards: Ensure projects deliver on time and on budget, contributing to long-term client success.
- Accountable for the successful delivery of complex projects, managing client expectations while ensuring commercial success.
- Build and maintain multidisciplinary delivery teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating, and working well together.
- Actively participate and support the development of a high-functioning Delivery Community of Practice.
- Engage and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.
- Consistently implement the defined delivery methodology to a high standard.
- Identify obstacles and help the delivery team to overcome them.
- Focus the project team on what is most important to the delivery of our products and services.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of our projects.
- Work effectively across multiple client projects and teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in project management or delivery management roles.
- Strong understanding of agile and lean practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging client stakeholders.
- Experience in financial management in project environments.
- Ability to manage multiple parts of the product life cycle.
