About The Role We are looking for a skilled and versatile Salesforce Administrator and Developer to join our team. This hybrid role is crucial for both the day-to-day maintenance and long-term strategic enhancement of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be an expert in both declarative and programmatic solutions, ensuring our Salesforce instance is efficient, scalable, and tailored to our business needs. You will work within the Business Platform Team and be responsible for implementing our brand new Salesforce platform into the heart of our business. This will be a demanding role which will require prioritising the backlog of work against business goals. You will need to influence senior business domain experts with support from colleagues within the Business Platform Team. You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the platform, as well as, development. You will help upskill colleagues within the wider Technical Operations Department to perform administration tasks on the Salesforce platform. You will also upskill into other Business Platforms to provide broader administrative and development support across our core technology stack. Responsibilities Administration User & Security Management: Manage user profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules to ensure data integrity and security Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules Automation: Design and implement business process automation using declarative tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules Data Management: Perform data import, export, and cleansing activities using tools like Data Loader to ensure data quality Support & Training: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and create training materials to drive user adoption Reporting & Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Development Custom Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and features using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) Integrations: Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, and manage deployments using Change Sets, Salesforce DX, or other deployment tools System Enhancement: Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce features and releases, and recommend solutions to improve system performance and functionality.
