Chemicals and Biofuels Shipbroker

As part of a TPT Shipbroker initiative, a new team of brokers will be responsible for building and managing this ambitious new business: identifying clients, managing relationship, negotiating contracts, and overseeing execution.

Key responsibilities will include:

Charterparties:

Negotiation of rates and terms across a range of spot and term charters.

Market analysis:

Monitor and analyze market trends, freight rates, and supply and demand dynamics.

Provide clients with market reports and insights to support their decision-making processes.

Client relationship management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and other stakeholders.

Understand client needs and tailor services to meet their specific requirements.

Operational coordination:

Liaise with operations teams to ensure the smooth execution of charter agreements.

Resolve operational issues.

Regulatory compliance:

Manage compliance with laws and regulations relating to chemicals and biofuels.

Business development and strategy:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
