Overview
TPT Retirement Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Implementation Manager to lead the onboarding of new CDC and DC pension scheme clients.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering smooth, well-managed transitions that give employers, trustees, advisers and members’ confidence from day one.
You will lead the end-to-end implementation of new clients, from initial scoping through to operational handover.
Working alongside new business development, operations, technology, administration teams and external stakeholders, you will make sure each transition is carefully planned, clearly communicated and delivered in line with regulatory requirements, contractual commitments and industry best practice.
- What you’ll be doing
- Leading the onboarding and implementation of new CDC and DC pension scheme clients.
- Developing and improving onboarding processes, methodologies and project documentation.
- Managing data migration, risk transfer, asset transfer and operational readiness activity.
- Building detailed project plans, tracking timelines, dependencies, risks, issues and resources.
- Acting as the main point of contact for employers, trustees, advisers and third-party administrators throughout the transition.
- Working with internal teams to support system, process and data integration into business-as-usual operations.
- Supporting new business activity by explaining TPT’s onboarding approach and contributing to client-facing materials.
- Working with business development and delivery teams to support agreement of key contractual terms.
- Ensuring onboarding activity is delivered in line with regulatory requirements, data protection obligations and TPT’s Information Security Policy.
- Representing TPT professionally and helping to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone with strong pensions implementation experience who can combine technical understanding with practical project delivery.
You may have worked in pension scheme transitions, operational onboarding, asset bulk transfers, risk transfer activity or a similar implementation-focused role.
- Experience leading or supporting pension scheme transitions, onboarding or implementation projects.
- Good technical understanding of DC and CDC pension administration, systems, data structures, transfer activity, legislation and regulation.
- Confident presentation skills, including leading onboarding pitches for new clients and explaining complex issues to different audiences.
- Strong project and change management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
- Ability to review technical work, maintain accurate documentation and support practical, risk-managed decisions.
- Experience using data modelling, validation and analysis to support the successful decision making and onboarding of new clients.
- PMI / FIA or PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.
- A collaborative, outcome-focused approach, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams internally and externally.
- Calm, resilient and organised, with strong attention to detail.
This role can be Leeds or London based.
