TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce and a management team dedicated to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognises and rewards its people while encouraging their journey of Learning and Development.

As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating your TPS team to deliver and achieve the business plans and objectives of the Centre, ensuring excellence in customer service, developing strategic plans, and ensuring all processes are in place to run a successful TPS Centre.

  • Ensure that the Centre targets and business objectives are achieved.
  • Translate overall sales targets into departmental targets and set challenging but achievable goals.
  • Motivate, recognise, and incentivise the team.
  • Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress, and provide developmental or corrective support where required.
  • Create a Manpower Plan for your centre and implement a succession plan.
  • Create and maintain a customer-centric culture in the business.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction via the team.
  • Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues and implement sales plans.
  • Regularly monitor business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and take action for any deviations.
  • Analyse internal and external market data to understand potential sales opportunities.
  • Achieve agreed business plan and budget while controlling costs within agreed parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the overall security of the stock and premises.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability or aptitude for leading and motivating a team to achieve business targets in a B2B environment.
  • A passion for providing a great customer service experience and knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in devising strategies and implementing plans.
  • Ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Sales-focused and results-oriented.
  • High degree of IT literacy and proficient user of MS Office.
  • Management experience.
