We’re looking for a Travel Plan Coordinator to join our growing team at TPS Transport Consultants, offering an opportunity to be at the forefront of Travel Plan delivery.
As specialists in the development and implementation of Travel Plans, we’re currently responsible for coordinating Travel Plan delivery at more than 150 developments and sites across the UK.
With our workload continuing to grow, we’re looking for a new team member to help us deliver sustainable travel initiatives across a diverse range of residential developments, workplaces and educational establishments.
About the role
We’re recruiting for a Travel Plan Coordinator (Consultant / Senior Consultant equivalent) to join our Wakefield-based team.
Unlike many traditional transport planning roles, this position focuses primarily on the practical implementation of Travel Plans, taking strategies beyond the planning stage and turning them into meaningful action.
The successful candidate will be involved in managing projects, coordinating communications and engagement activities, working with clients and stakeholders, and monitoring the effectiveness of Travel Plan initiatives.
Whilst previous experience in Travel Planning would be beneficial, we’re also keen to hear from people with relevant transferable skills, particularly in project management, communications and stakeholder engagement.

- Location: Wakefield, with hybrid working opportunities
