The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 ÂŁ per year.
Due to continued success in winning new contracts, an exciting new role has been created within this small business of just 8 staff for an inâhouse recruiter. You will focus on recruiting and onboarding selfâemployed tutors for students in alternative provision settings, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be based in lovely offices in Paddington. This is a partâtime role, 3 days a week with 2 days on site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop bestâpractice recruitment and direct search strategies to attract specialist selfâemployed tutors
- Overall accountability for leading and driving the talent acquisition strategy across the organisation
- Proactively identify and build relationships with suitable candidates (posting job adverts, applicant registration and transition through compliance, responding to applicant queries, sending invitations to interviews, etc.)
- Maintain excellence in safeguarding with each registration
- Ensure tutor coordinators are kept up to date with the progress of candidate applications
- Collaborate with the internal education team to match tutors to students based on subject, location and specialist needs
- Conduct initial interviews and vetting to ensure candidates meet safeguarding and quality standards
- Support the head of operations to ensure smooth running of the onboarding process for each candidate
What's Required for this Role
- Experience of talent sourcing ideally from the education sector or someone with the skills below who understands SEMH / SEND environments
- Excellent communication skills and relationshipâbuilding skills (both written and verbally)
- Selfâmotivated and can work autonomously
- Understanding of safeguarding and compliance in education recruitment
- Excellent organisational and timeâmanagement skills
- Familiarity with SEMH or SEND environments is a plus, but not essential
