We're looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a leading research organisation and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and meaningful financial insight. This is a great opportunity to join a finance team undergoing positive change and continuous improvement.
- Prepare management accounts and supporting schedules.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Review financial transactions to ensure accurate analysis and coding.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain accurate financial reporting schedules and timetables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Requirements:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience within a charity, not-for-profit, research, grant-funded or commercial environment.
- Experience of month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and financial controls.
