The Role

As the agency expands its digital activation offering, the Performance Activation Manager will play a crucial role in implementing the Activation strategy to ensure the day-to-day success of campaigns across your client portfolio. This role will manage activation across all major platforms in channels including Paid Social, Programmatic, Paid Search and Retail Media. This role requires a strong understanding of a wide range of platforms and campaign delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • BRIEFING STAGE: Responsible for supporting the Planning department by providing data, insights and previous learnings to help create best-in-class media planning tactics across all digital channels.
  • EXECUTION: Responsible for briefing, quality assurance and implementation of best-in-class, full funnel digital activation in-line with agreed media plan and strategy.
  • OPTIMISATION: Responsible for the best-in-class cross-channel approaches, with the right use of data to inform optimisation strategies and improve account performance in line with business objectives.
  • REPORTING: Responsible for data, insights and learnings to all post campaign analysis and reports are delivered to the highest quality.
  • TECH/INNOVATION: Responsible for implementing different proprietary and third-party tools whilst understanding the different strengths & limitations of each.
  • DEVELOPMENT: Responsible for the management of workload across the team of Performance Activation Executives, ensuring tasks are completed to a high level and in a timely manner.
  • FINANCE: Responsible for financial accuracy through the planning & buying process with on time delivery.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience of setting up and activating campaigns across a digital channel.
  • Willingness to learn to activate on platforms across other channels such as Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic and Retail Media.
  • Experience of client servicing.
  • Good project management skills and ability to work efficiently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
