TPL Talent Solutions is supporting a specialist property consultancy to identify a Senior Surveyor (Utilities). The company provides end-to-end support in maximising value from development assets. With deep expertise across CPOs, DCOs, easements, wayleaves, infrastructure projects, land referencing and public inquiries, they advise clients on complex, large-scale developments.

This hybrid role will involve:

  • Leading landowner consultations and advising clients on all aspects of Development Consent Orders for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
  • Overseeing and drafting all land-related documentation required for DCO preparation and implementation.
  • Advising on the promotion and execution of Compulsory Purchase Powers.
  • Negotiating with landowners and conducting consultations throughout the process.
  • Preparing valuations, compensation claims and negotiating settlements/agreements.
  • Supporting landowners affected by compulsory purchase (objections, petitions, compensation).

To be considered you will:

  • Preferably be MRICS Qualified.
  • Have development experience.
  • Hold strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with landowners, stakeholders and project partners.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain high-quality reporting.
  • Relish a collaborative approach and confidence working within multidisciplinary environments.
