TPL is working with an established property consultancy to identify an Associate Director for their Land Assembly & Compulsory Purchase team in London. The Associate Director will join a leading team advising a broad range of clients across infrastructure, regeneration, valuation, and land compensation matters.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Advising acquiring authorities, infrastructure providers, and developers on compulsory purchase and land assembly strategy
- Supporting affected landowners and occupiers through the compensation and acquisition process
- Preparing and negotiating compensation claims, including for land value and business disturbance
- Providing strategic input into complex infrastructure and regeneration projects
- Attending Public Inquiries and DCO examinations, including the preparation of objections where required
- Supporting clients through expert witness evidence if required at the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber)
- Collaborating with regional and national teams to deliver client-focused solutions
To Be Considered You Will:
- Be MRICS qualified
- Preferably have a strong understanding of compulsory purchase law, property valuation, and compensation matters
- Demonstrate excellent client-handling and communication skills
- Enjoy working across diverse project types and sectors
