TPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a friendly and well established independent accountancy practice based in Worthing, who are looking to recruit a Tax Manager to join their close knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with a varied client base and being part of a supportive, office based environment. The firm are open to considering candidates operating at Tax Senior or Tax Manager level, depending on experience.

The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns
  • Handling capital gains tax and inheritance tax compliance matters
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing practical advice
  • Liaising with HMRC where required
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate

Requirements

  • Currently working at Tax Senior or Tax Manager level
  • CTA qualified is desirable, but candidates studying or qualified through ATT, ACA or ACCA will also be considered
  • Strong prior tax experience will be valued over formal qualifications where demonstrated
  • Confident managing your own portfolio and communicating directly with clients
  • A team focused approach and a positive attitude
