The Role<\/b>

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with day -to -day accounting and client work. Your main responsibilities will include:
<\/div>
Prepare bookkeeping records and VAT returns for a varied portfolio of clients.<\/span>
<\/li>
Assist with the preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
<\/li>
Prepare Self Assessment tax returns and support with other personal tax compliance work.
<\/li>
Liaise with clients to obtain information, answer queries and provide ongoing support.
<\/li>
Maintain accurate financial records using cloud accounting software.
<\/li>
Support senior members of the team with ad hoc accounting assignments while ensuring all work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
