TPF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-established independent accountancy practice in Ramsgate who are looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, friendly firm in a varied, client-focused role.
The Role
This is an all-round bookkeeping position with responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support clients with software, and help maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Full bookkeeping duties for multiple clients
- Preparing accounts up to trial balance
- Completing VAT returns and CIS submissions
- Supporting clients with software
- Providing client-facing support and guidance
- Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service
Requirements Candidate Profile
- Experience within an accountancy practice (ideal)
- Strong bookkeeping skills with excellent accuracy
- Competent user of Quickbooks or Xero
- Confident communicator and comfortable in a client-facing role
- Able to work independently within a small, supportive office
