The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Tax Partner, becoming their trusted second in command while playing a key role in delivering high quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.The practice acts for a broad range of owner managed businesses, entrepreneurial clients, property investors, property development companies and high net worth individuals.
The role offers significant exposure to complex and varied tax planning projects, making it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a genuinely advisory focused position.The RoleWorking as part of a specialist tax team, the successful individual will be heavily involved in client meetings, tax planning assignments and ongoing advisory work.
They will provide practical and commercially focused advice to businesses and their owners throughout the full business lifecycle.This is far more than a compliance role and would suit a tax professional who enjoys client interaction, problem solving and developing long term trusted adviser relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesActing as the right hand to the Tax Partner on a variety of advisory projectsAdvising owner managed businesses and shareholders on a wide range of tax mattersSupporting clients through business growth, succession planning and exit strategiesProviding tax planning advice to property investors, developers and property related businessesAdvising on Corporation Tax, VAT, SDLT and ATED mattersDelivering private client tax advice covering Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and TrustsAttending client meetings and building strong professional relationshipsReviewing technical tax matters and preparing advisory reportsAssisting with complex tax planning assignments and specialist projectsSupporting junior members of the tax team where requiredRequirementsMixed Tax Manager
- Hybrid, LondonCTA, ACA, ICAS qualified or equivalent experienceFormer HMRC Inspector of Taxes backgrounds will also be consideredStrong mixed tax experience gained within UK accountancy practiceProven experience providing tax advisory services to owner managed businesses and private clientsKnowledge of Corporation Tax, VAT, SDLT, ATED, Income Tax, Inheritance Tax and Trust taxationExcellent communication and relationship building skillsCommercially minded with a proactive approach to client serviceAbility to deal confidently with clients and advisers at all levelsBenefitsMixed Tax Manager
