We are seeking an experienced Tax Dispute Assistant Manager to join our team, responsible for managing and resolving complex tax disputes on behalf of our clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex tax disputes with HMRC, including Code of Practice 8 and Code of Practice 9 cases
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on tax dispute resolution strategies
  • Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of tax disputes to identify potential errors and areas for appeal
  • Develop and implement effective dispute resolution plans to achieve successful outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with senior tax professionals to ensure consistency and quality of service delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and HMRC policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, HMRC and other stakeholders
