We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Adviser to join our client's expanding US and UK tax practice. This role is pivotal in delivering expert tax advice to US Expatriate high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) across the UK and international jurisdictions.
As a key member of our technical team, you will provide strategic guidance on complex personal tax matters, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT), and cross-border tax planning. You will prepare and review tax computations, manage client relationships and contribute to innovative tax solutions that align with evolving regulatory landscapes.
With a focus on compliance, accuracy and client service excellence, this position offers substantial professional growth, exposure to high-value clients and the opportunity to work within a technically rigorous, supportive environment. Your expertise in both UK and US tax regimes will be critical in addressing the increasingly complex needs of international private clients.
Requirements:
- Experience in UK and US personal tax, preferably within a professional services firm or private client practice.
- In-depth knowledge of US and UK tax legislation, including CGT, IHT, Income Tax and National Insurance.
- Familiarity with US tax implications for UK-based HNWIs, including FBAR, FATCA and cross-border reporting obligations.
