A fast‑growing and forward‑thinking accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne is searching for an Audit Semi Senior or Senior to join our firm. The role offers increasing responsibility, career development, and exposure to a wide‑ranging client base of education academies, charities, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, OMB and SME clients with turnovers up to £100m.
Responsibilities
- Deliver audits and accounts, both office‑ and client‑premises‑based
- Supervise on‑site audit team
- Lead group audits and accounts preparation including consolidations and cash flow statements
- Prepare financial forecast models, business plans, reports on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad‑hoc projects as required
- Supervise semi‑seniors & support staff, liaising with internal‑ and external managers and partners
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience (ACCA/ACA) and possess a wide range of audit and accounts experience with particular emphasis on audit expertise and preparation of statutory financial statements
- Experience in audit fieldwork, or potentially planning audits
- Client‑facing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
