This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their accountancy career who is looking for a broad and hands-on role, with full exposure across accounts, tax and bookkeeping. The firm offers a supportive environment, structured training and full study support towards the ACA or ACCA qualification.
The Role
This is a varied and practical training role where you will gain exposure to multiple areas of accountancy, working with a wide range of clients across different sectors. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
- Supporting senior team members with client work and ad-hoc assignments
- Liaising with clients and responding to basic queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and working papers
- Gaining exposure to different accounting systems and processes
- Travelling into London to visit clients
