TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working with a well regarded firm of chartered accountants in Sidcup who are looking for a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their established team. The role is ideally full time, although they are open to considering part time candidates.

In this position, you will:

  • Manage the UK personal tax affairs of high net worth individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and estates
  • Work closely with the Tax Partner and Manager to deliver a high standard of service
  • Handle all compliance matters including personal tax, partnership and trust returns, CGT property returns, P11Ds, ATED and Employment Related Securities
  • Support and deliver ad hoc advisory work for clients
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC
  • Work as part of a team to ensure all returns are filed on time
  • Supervise and support junior team members

Requirements:

You may be AAT or ATT qualified, studying ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA or you will have developed a personal tax career within accountancy practice or specialist tax firm through experience to date. Your experience will have been developed in an accountancy firm of any size, or specialist tax firm delivering personal tax compliance to wide ranging clients as a personal tax specialist, or you may have a more mixed accounts/tax background interested in specialising within personal tax moving forward.

Benefits:

£40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer including flexible and hybrid working, study support if needed, and more!
