Job Description
TPF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent accountancy practice based in Swanley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join a friendly, supportive firm with a strong local reputation and long-standing client relationships.
This firm offers a great working environment, excellent career progression, and exposure to a varied portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders to SMEs and limited companies.
The Role
You\\\’ll work closely with managers and partners to provide hands-on support to clients. Typical duties include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Corporation and personal tax computations
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Managing and reviewing bookkeeping where required
- Liaising with HMRC and clients directly
Qualifications / Requirements
- UK Accountancy Practice experience is essential
- AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or fully qualified
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and managing own workflow
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
