TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a fantastic firm of chartered accountants who are looking to strengthen their tax offering across Kent, Sussex, London and the South East with a Personal Tax Senior (Trusts & IHT). This highly reputable and growing firm of chartered accountants advises a diverse range of clients across the Southeast.
The practice is forward-thinking and offers an excellent working environment where you can enjoy the challenge of working with complex clients and building rewarding relationships, combined with flexibility, generous pay, an amazing team culture and a fantastic work-life balance.
You will be managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients as well as providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the directors. The compliance will include preparation of trust accounts, preparation of trust self-assessment tax returns and R185s, preparation of IHT returns, preparation of estate tax returns, and preparation of personal tax returns. Ad hoc planning and advisory work will be diverse, interesting, and challenging. Full training and support are available if you haven't had exposure to trusts or estates.
Requirements
- You will be ATT/ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or holding similar qualifications, with a career background within personal tax.
- You will have 3+ years of experience in either an accountancy practice or legal practice environment.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice. Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/Quickbooks would be advantageous.
