TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is proud to be representing a well-established and highly respected Ashford based accountancy firm in their search for a talented and motivated Personal Tax Semi-Senior to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Tax Semi-Senior, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s personal tax clients while developing your expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, sole traders, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Assisting with the review of junior staff’s work, providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality service is delivered.
- Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
- Supporting tax planning initiatives and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements
Personal Tax Semi-Senior Ashford
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- Experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice
- Ideally studying towards, or holding, ATT qualifications (Study support can be provided)
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
