TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a growing firm of chartered accountants in Chatham, Kent. Our client is a growing and friendly accountancy practice. They have a good staff retention rate and offer a great work-life balance. They’re also open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
This role is suited towards an experienced and technically competent Payroll Manager, or an experienced Payroll Administrator or Payroll Supervisor. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of payroll clients and have the support of a part-time payroll administrator. In addition to payroll, you will also be involved in CIS returns.
As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
- Supporting the team in respect of processes relevant to payroll and benefits.
- Managing queries related to tax, benefits, salary, allowances.
- Managing P11D’s and Annual Returns.
- CIS Returns.
- Processing P60s, P45s, start letters and induction documentation.
- Auto enrolment processes.
- Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.
- The ability to help grow and develop the firm’s payroll offering.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience of leading Payroll for a varied client portfolio.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated with managing your own workload.
- Good communication skills.
- A team player, able to mentor or work with other team members.
Benefits:
£30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
