TPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a modern and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Newbury with the recruitment of an Accounts & Outsourcing Semi -Senior to join their growing team. The Role

Working closely with the team’s Managers and Directors, you will support the delivery of high -quality outsourced accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, owner -managed businesses and larger corporate groups.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and providing day -to -day outsourced finance support
  • Preparing year -end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
  • Assisting with cloud accounting projects, including system migrations and client support
  • Supporting with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting analysis
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for day -to -day queries
  • Assisting senior team members with a range of client accounting projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants
  • AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts and VAT returns
  • Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A confident and professional communication style with the ability to build strong client relationships
